R.A.T.S. has been performing at the Rhiwbina Memorial Hall for over half a century!
Our first production, in February 1958, was Agatha Christies' "The Hollow" and since then we have put on over 200 shows including plays, musicals, pantomimes, Patrons' Evenings and fund-raising events.
A number of our younger members have gone on to study at drama colleges around the country and we are very proud that some are now working in the professional theatre.
Our membership (aged 16+) strive to produce the very highest standard of amateur theatre.
Producers, directors, performers, back stage and Front of House teams work together to bring our audiences a wide variety of productions each year.
As you can imagine, it takes a lot of hard work to produce a R.A.T.S. show and we are always looking for new, enthusiastic members to join us.
We meet every Wednesday and Sunday from 7.30pm until about 10pm so, if you are interested in finding out more about us, why not come along? We'd love to meet you.
